The Light Between Us by Laura Lynne Jackson was a wonderful read. And it resonated with me deeply.
Like most people who are open to their spiritual abilities as children (myself included) – Laura didn’t understand her gifts as a child and thought it a curse.
Throughout the years she questioned herself and struggled with her abilities.
For me, I would “close the door” to my spiritual side as soon as I noticed an opening. It was this constant opening and closing of this “door” throughout the years.
But at some point, the door flies wide open, and you learn to come to terms with your gifts.
“Every part of you is legitimate. Every part of you deserves to be explored. Don’t be afraid of your ability. It is real, and it’s a part of who you are.” – Laura Lynne Jackson
Laura found peace with her abilities when she received a scientific understanding of her gift. She has helped many people come to terms with loss and help people live the best versions of their lives in the here and now.
This book contains stories of Laura’s growth and development as a psychic medium throughout the years.
Laura is a lightworker, on a team of light, here to help bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual realms to help teach and heal others.
As spiritual beings, we all have the capability to open to our abilities as a spirit. That being said, the process of opening to our spiritual selves is a journey. You strengthen your abilities as you practice and learn to trust yourself. Not everything is available to you at one time and for a good reason.
Like many, Laura views the earth as a big classroom. We are all here to learn lessons and to help others.
In the book, Laura approaches the bigger questions in life such as:
Why are we here? “To learn. To give and receive love. To be the agents of positive change in the world.” What is our true purpose on this earth? “To grow in love – and to help others do the same.” – Laura Lynne Jackson
We are all interconnected; connected by the light and consciousness of the universe. Our actions matter, and we can all greatly brighten the world.
If there’s one thing to take home from this book, it would be that there is no death. Our consciousness endures. Our deceased loved ones are alive on the Other Side and await our return home to the spiritual realm.
Overall, I would recommend this book.
