Why I Wouldn’t Buy a Crystal Phone Case

Crystal Phone Case

As you probably know, electronic devices have become an integral part of modern society. Everywhere you look – whether you are at a restaurant, a park, at a friend’s home, etc. – chances are you will see someone with an electronic device.

Electronic devices emit what’s called electromagnetic field (EMF) radiation.

If you feel tired or a lack of energy after spending a lot of time on your electronic devices, chances are you may be experiencing common symptoms of excess EMF. And even if you do not own an electronic device, you can still be affected by it.

I can feel so drained after spending too much time on my phone.

EMF radiation is not very healthy at all. In fact, more and more studies have labeled EMFs as a possible carcinogen. But not enough research has been done because we are still in the infancy of the modern technical world. We have yet to see the long-term effects of an electronic device, such as a cell phone, over the lifespan of a person.

“Electromagnetic fields of all frequencies represent one of the most common and fastest growing environmental influences, about which anxiety and speculation are spreading. All populations are now exposed to varying degrees of EMF, and the levels will continue to increase as technology advances.” — World Health Organization

Today EMFs are everywhere, and it is pretty much impossible to be rid of them completely.

Alright, but what does this have to do with a crystal phone case?

First, let me clarify what it is I am referring to when I say crystal phone case.

Visualize a clear phone case on the back of a phone. On this clear phone case are genuine crystals (example, rose quartz) glued on in some design.

I would show you some pictures but I don’t personally own any, and I wouldn’t want to point out anyone’s work individually. These cases are someone else’s creative work. And they are very pretty.

But to be honest with you – these phone cases make me cringe.

And I’ve been coming across them more and more lately.

So why is this so bad?

Here’s the thing: The phone cases I’ve been coming across have an array of crystals coming from the quartz family. Examples include rose quartz, clear quartz, amethyst, etc.

Crystals in the quartz family are silicates. And silicates amplify energy.

“Why? Well, for the simple reason that they easily slide into resonance with electronics and microwave radiation. That property is why silicon (what silicates & quartz [silicon dioxide] are made of) is so widely used in technology! It’s an excellent semi-conductor of energy” – Hibiscus Moon.

Pair an amplifier of energy with EMFs, and you are increasing the amount of EMFs you receive.

I don’t know about you, but I am not interested in increasing my EMF intake. Whether EMFs are carcinogenic or not, I already feel adverse effects when I am on an electronic device for too long. Why take that chance?

As someone who loves to work with crystals as much as I can, I would not advise the use of crystals for a crystal phone case.

And if you are already concerned about EMF radiation, I would recommend you check out a phone case that is made specifically to lessen the effects of EMF radiation.  If you google radiation protection cases, they are out there. I do not have specific recommendations for you at this time because I haven’t tried any of the brands out.

Also, some crystals can assist with the reduction of EMF radiation from electronic devices. Hibiscus Moon has a great article called Crystals for Lowering Your EMF Risks… and WHY you should care. She has a list of crystals you can use to help you ward off EMF.

Personally, I love to use a massive chunk of black tourmaline in front of my television, and a piece of black tourmaline & pyrite on my bedside table between me and my cell phone at night.

And there you have it; I would not buy a crystal phone case.

There’s no getting away from EMFs, but you can take steps to lessen the effects.

Have a beautiful day,

With Love,
